Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our policy on donation refunds and cancellations. Required by Razorpay.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all donations made to Asha Charitable Trust through https://aashaanimals.org/. By donating, you accept this policy.
1. Donations are Final
Donations are voluntary contributions to a charitable cause and, in general, are non-refundable. Once your payment has been processed and the funds have been allocated to a programme, they cannot be returned.
2. Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Issued
We will consider a refund request only in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate transaction: If you were charged more than once for the same intended donation, please contact us within 7 days with your receipt numbers — we will refund the duplicate(s).
- Technical error: If a technical glitch caused you to be charged an amount different from what you intended, please contact us within 48 hours.
- Unauthorised payment: If your card or UPI was used without your authorisation, contact us immediately and we will work with our payment partner to investigate.
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
3. Cancellation of Monthly Donations
If you have set up a monthly recurring donation, you can cancel future charges at any time by emailing us at [email protected] with the email address and phone number you used to subscribe. Cancellations stop future debits but do not refund past charges.
4. 80G Receipt and Refunds
If a refund is issued and you have already received an 80G certificate, the certificate becomes void and may not be used for tax exemption. We will notify the Income Tax Department as required.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request” and include:
- Your name and donor email
- Donation date and amount
- Receipt number (if available)
- Reason for the refund request
We respond to refund requests within 3 working days.
