Our Story

It Started with One Hungry Pup.

In 2019, founder Asha Iyer began feeding a few stray dogs near her home in Bengaluru. Word spread, neighbours joined in, and a WhatsApp group of 12 became a registered trust. Today, ACTANIMALS feeds thousands of dogs every week, runs a 24x7 rescue ambulance, and operates a no-kill shelter on the outskirts of the city.

We're proud to be 100% transparent — every rupee is tracked, every meal is photographed, and every annual report is published online. Because the dogs deserve nothing less.
